Baby Room

30 July 2010

browsing some old photos from our previous home and came across the pictures I had taken of the children's rooms. For our first child we wanted something cheerful and bright

My sister in law made a design and one afternoon we painted it on the walls of what was going to be the baby room. It brings back a lot of memories, the realisation that I was going to be a dad. Nobody could've prepared me for what was to come: the joy, the panic and most of all the relentless fatigue.

Baby RoomFor our second child, we wanted something to initiate our bi-lingual upbringing of the kids. So again, she made something so incredibly cute. Check it out.

If it wasn't for the leaky roof, the shortage of space and the lack of insulation, I'd almost miss that house.

Almost.
